Music Producer, Coordinator, Advisor
Network Seven’s “Home and Away” - 4 years experience -

300+ Episodes

For four years I have overseen music on Network Seven's Home and Away — one of Australia's longest-running and most-watched drama series.

The role came through my connections with Mushroom Group — one of Australia's most established labels. Four years inside the music and TV ecosystem has built a deep understanding of sync music and creating under production constraints — how to bring the right people together to make it happen.

My area is diegetic music — songs that live inside the world of the show, performed by actors either with playback or live on set.

  •  The role spans every stage of production:

    • Script — reading every episode, mapping all musical requirements.

    • Production meetings — with series producers, post-production, and directors.

    • Interdepartmental collaboration — art department, sound recordists, actors.

    • Songwriters — briefing Mushroom Group writers on original material, or licensing existing music where required.

    • Studio production — producing original arrangements with my team of musicians in Coburg, Melbourne.

    • Studio recording — recording vocals with actors, editing and mixing, creating playback tracks for set.

    • Music advising on set — teaching actors musical parts and guiding the performance.

    • Stems to dub — mixing and delivering all music to editors and dub.

Every piece of diegetic music that goes to air has either been arranged, produced, or recorded by me and the team of people I supervise.
